February 2024 in review

My monthly series

This is the sixteenth post in my Month in review series.

We started a big and fun project at Grafana Labs with a customer I’ve been working with for the past 2 years. I went to New York for 3 days of project kickoff meetings. We also had a few happy hours and dinners among partners, colleagues and friends. I came back charged and full of ideas and good memories.

At home in Santa Fe, we went to two DJ dance nights, Riya had a dance performance with Mosaic Dance Company, and we watched a Choreographers Showcase.

The theme of the month is: dances.

Trip to NYC

I went to NY to meet with customers and kick off a one year project. I also met with Grafana Labs colleagues from my team and other partnering teams.

On the last day of my trip, I went on a guided tour of the United Nations! I was attracted by the historical meaning of this organization. I wondered what the architecture, the art and the logistics looked like inside. I wanted to understand it better, to see it with my own eyes, and to wonder how such a thing comes together.

Month activities

I’m very pleased with the amount of dancing, art and friends that I got to see this month.
