October 2025 in review

This is the thirty-fifth post in my Month in review series.

Riya stayed in Santa Fe. She is wrapping up her work in Los Alamos and she will join me in Winnipeg in December.

I moved to Winnipeg last month. I lived in an Airbnb and looked for a house. I was working from a co-working space.

Winnipeg activities

My car window on the passenger side was smashed by a vandal in a parking lot downtown. I got it fixed the next day, but you can call that an initiation to Winnipeg small crime!

• Contacted a realtor and started searching for a house.
• Went on 6 house viewings.
• Bought a house.
• Riya was helping me shopping and organizing the search from Santa Fe.
• I explored The Forks, the Millenium Library, and Winnipeg Art Gallery.

Montreal visit

Right after closing the house purchase, I came to Montreal for another short visit, and to save on Airbnb costs (merci Danielle!)

Ah I was really impressed with the view of Montreal on the EXO train!
