Solving Mom's stuck freezer drawer puzzle

We’re in my mom’s kitchen. This freezer drawer is stuck because some ice packs froze and expanded, blocking the door from opening by hitting stuff in the back. We tried using wet towels saturated with hot water to put on the ice packs to melt them down, but it’s going too slow and it’s too far back now. So I’m using a hair dryer and a vacuum cleaner tube segment to push the hot air on the ice packs.

We were able to melt enough of the ice packs so that they can move. In fact the one beneath, we slid it to the side, this one dropped, all of them dropped, and the drawer was freed. So now we can remove these [ice packs].
